I. RESTAURANT ENTRANCE
Padella Restaurant's entrance area is designed to create a memorable and mysterious welcome, preparing visitors for the authentic experience inside. Originally, the fence was wrought iron, specific to the building's architectural style. Instead, to provide a modern and subtle contrast to the historic elements of the building, we replaced the fence with a contemporary design made of white metal in the form of a perforated square mesh. This simple and sleek fence adds a sophisticated air, yet maintains an open and welcoming aesthetic, allowing visitors to easily enter the interior courtyard. At the entrance, we created a curved terracotta brick "tunnel" that blends harmoniously with the restaurant's exterior design. Discetly illuminated from the floor, this tunnel creates a mysterious and inviting atmosphere, leading guests into a world of its own, where Italian traditions and Brazilian influences intertwine. This transition area is designed not only to mark the beginning of a special experience, but also to emphasize the connection between the vibrant exterior and the elegant interior of Padella, where every detail is designed to surprise and delight.
II. THE BEGINNING...ENTRY AREA
As you pass through the illuminated brick tunnel, you're greeted by a selfie area that perfectly blends aesthetics and functionality. Here, visitors can explore a captivating setting where the combination of materials - concrete, stone, exotic wood and terracotta - create a unique atmosphere. Looking out from this area, one can see the first dining section, where ten tables for four are neatly arranged. These tables are discreetly separated by a green island in the form of a small garden. The green garden adds a touch of nature and freshness, perfectly complementing the relaxing atmosphere of this area. On the wall opposite the house, there is an elegant terracotta decoration with the Padella logo exquisitely placed, creating an ideal focal point for selfies. This is a significant design detail that not only promotes the brand identity but also adds an artistic element, deepening the visual experience. Access to the area designated for garbage storage is effectively masked by a door clad in an exotic wood riffraff, which ensures stylistic continuity of the design. This solution not only discreetly conceals this utilitarian area, but also maintains aesthetic coherence, harmoniously integrating it into the overall space.
III. BAR AREA
The bar area in the Padella restaurant is a challenge and at the same time an opportunity to create a special, eye-catching place that meets the requirements of an efficient and budget-friendly design. We approached this project with the goal of creating a spectacular bar that would remain functional and within budget. The bar is made from a clever combination of materials, each bringing a unique contribution to its final look. The front of the bar is made from asymmetrically played brick, a durable material with a rustic look that adds texture and depth to the space. This choice, combined with alpine green marble, adds an air of sophistication and a touch of luxury without compromising the budget, thanks to the selection of natural materials, which are affordable yet impressive. In addition, we used Tulum type decorative paint, which contributes to a great aesthetic effect and is ideal for creating a subtle contrast and adding a warm and welcoming visual effect. The glossy terracotta tiles complement the design of the bar, bringing a sleek finish with a sheen that reflects light and makes the space more vibrant. The drinks display area is a real eye-catcher, realized in the form of three arches, two facing up and one facing down, creating an interesting dynamic and adding an element of fluidity to the bar design. These arches are carefully placed to highlight the drinks on display and the warm, specially designed lighting brings out this detail. The WOW effect of the bar is given by this strategic lighting, which creates a warm, intimate yet sophisticated atmosphere that draws the eye and adds an extra touch of magic to the area. The bar thus becomes the true pearl of the restaurant terrace, a vibrant and youthful place that can easily be transformed into a club area. The lighting and flexible arrangements allow the space to be transformed into an energetic and lively place, perfect for fun evenings out, but also for relaxing moments during the day. This is where innovative design and cost efficiency meet to create an unforgettable atmosphere.
IV. DINING AREA FOR PARTIES
The party dining area in Padella restaurant is designed to provide a festive and versatile atmosphere that can easily adapt to different types of events, from intimate dinners to larger parties. One of the special aspects of this area is the creation of two unique types of tables, each designed to add a touch of originality and sophistication to the space, as well as to allow for flexibility in organizing events. The first type of table is square, with an elegant combination of marble-like tiles in the middle and teak wood. Square tables can be joined together, creating two large dining areas, ideal for larger parties or group events, without compromising the comfort and privacy of each guest. The second type of teak table is round and the center of the table is made of a different type of sandstone, with a marbled green shade that adds a touch of color and sophistication. This choice of material and shape helps to create an interesting contrast between the square and round tables, giving a dynamic and diverse feel to the party area. Round tables are perfect for encouraging interaction between guests and creating a convivial atmosphere.
V. VIP AREA
This section is designed to offer a personalized experience in an elegant setting surrounded by natural elements and exquisite design accents. With its wooden pergola, subtle lighting and premium furnishings, the space combines comfort and luxury in a relaxing atmosphere perfect for private gatherings or special events. The VIP area is completely secluded from the rest of the terrace, ensuring maximum comfort and discretion, while its modern décor adds a touch of sophistication to every moment spent here. It is the ideal place for those looking for a memorable dining experience in an exclusive setting.
VI. RESTAURANT BATHROOM
The space is defined by natural textures, concrete-finished walls and warm lighting accents that transform a utilitarian space into an elegant and memorable space. The Vegas by ISRA sinks, accompanied by subtly illuminated mirrors, add a contemporary design element, while wooden details and minimalist finishes complete the understated luxurious feel.
